WWE Royal Rumble 2026 live results: Winners, eliminations & key moments

It’s time for WWE “Royal Rumble 2026” in Riyadh. The 39th annual “Royal Rumble” show is being held at King Abdullah Financial District. A lot of surprises and key moments are expected for one of the biggest professional wrestling shows of the year. The event officially kicks off the road to “WrestleMania 42.”

Marquee names have already been confirmed for the men’s and women’s Rumble matches. Cody Rhodes, “The OTC” Roman Reigns, all members of The Vision, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, and other standout talent will be featured on the men’s side. Charlotte Flair, Asuka, Rhea Ripley, Giulia, Iyo Sky, Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, and more are set to participate in the women’s Rumble match.

Undisputed WWE Title Match, AJ Styles’ Career Ends Today?

Drew McIntyre is looking to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship while keeping his singles record against Sami Zayn spotless. Zayn has other ideas, as he is vying for his first world title win. The two will collide with gold at stake in Riyadh.

Fans could also be witnessing the final match in the legendary career of AJ Styles. If the “Phenomenal” one loses to Gunther at “Royal Rumble 2026,” then he will be forced to retire. “The Ring General” has even promised to make Styles tap out.

WWE “Royal Rumble 2026” will start at 2 p.m. ET. The show will reportedly begin with the women’s Royal Rumble match and end with the men’s over-the-top-rope spectacle.

WWE Women’s Royal Rumble Match

Tag team partners Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss were the first two entrants in the women’s Royal Rumble match.

Flair and Bliss had a staredown before Bliss suggested that they wait for the third entrant. Flair stared at the “WrestleMania” sign and pretended to go for an elimination. Bliss returned the favor by faking Sister Abagail. Flair then faked a Figure Eight, as the two ultimately decided to wait for the third entrant, who was Kiana James.

Nia Jax spoiled the party for Bliss and Flair, as she entered at No. 4. Jax hit a clothesline on Flair and tossed Bliss to the corner. Jax landed corner splashes on both women. Bliss was planted by a Samoan drop. The fifth participant was Ivy Nile of American Made.

Lola Vice of “NXT” entered at No. 6. She immediately kicked Jax, Bliss, and James. She then delivered a German suplex to Flair. Vice landed hip attacks on Bliss and Flair. Jax halted the momentum with a clothesline.

Candice LeRae entered at No. 7. She landed a tornado DDT on Flair. She almost eliminated James, who was able to hang on. Jordynne Grace was the No. 8 entrant. It didn’t take long for Grace to eliminate both LeRae and Vice. She then sent Nile over the top rope.

Jax looked for a powerbomb on Bliss, but they both ended up on the apron. Flair kicked Jax for an elimination, but Bliss ended up falling outside of the ring as well. Becky Lynch was up next at No. 9. She brawled with Flair before Sol Ruca entered at No. 10.

Ruca leaped into the ring and took out Lynch and Flair. Ruca then landed a German suplex on Grace. She delivered a missile dropkick to James and Flair. Roxanne Perez was next at No. 11, followed by Maxxine Dupri.

Lynch went for the Manhandle Slam on Dupri, but she was countered. Dupri’s former mentor, Nattie, entered the match at No. 13. Lynch took advantage and eventually eliminated Dupri. Lynch tried eliminating Nattie, but she ended up getting tossed in a surprising elimination.

Liv Morgan entered at No. 14, and Lash Legend followed. Legend delivered a double chokeslam to Morgan and James. She then dropped Ruca with a big boot. Grace sent Legend onto the apron. Legend put Grace on her shoulders and tossed her out of the ring.

Zelina Vega entered the ring, followed by Raquel Rodriguez of The Judgment Day. Morgan, James, and Perez fought on the apron. Rodriguez delivered a big boot to eliminate James. Chelsea Green entered at No. 18, and her efforts to team with The Judgment Day went nowhere. Giulia took the No. 19 spot and nearly eliminated Green, but Alba Fyre kept her stablemate in the match.

Iyo Sky entered the ring as the No. 20 entrant. She had uppercuts for just about everyone. Sky took down Rodriguez with a missile dropkick and did her signature taunt before Asuka joined the match. Giulia and Asuka double-teamed Sky. Asuka quickly turned on Giulia. Ripley was next at No. 22.

Giulia and Vega fought on the apron. Vega was sent crashing into the ring post. Giulia then kicked Vega off the apron for an elimination. Ripley then eliminated Green and Perez.

Bayley was next at No. 23, and she immediately went after Ruca. NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne was a surprise entrant. She delivered a hurricanrana to Legend. Nattie and Rodriguez fought on the apron. Morgan hit Oblivion on Nattie for an elimination. Nikki Bella entered at No. 25.

Lyra Valkyria marched down to the ring as the next participant. Giulia trapped Valkyria in a submission, but she found herself on the apron. Valkyria bounced off Bayley and delivered a forearm to knock Giulia out of the match. Kelani Jordan entered at No. 27.

Asuka finally had backup, as Kairi Sane entered the fray. Sane accidentally eliminated Asuka. A stunned Sane was then quickly eliminated by Giulia. Brie Bella returned as the No. 29 entrant, leading a slew of fans to chant “Yes!”

The final entrant was the returning Tiffany Stratton. She took out the field with a Swanton Bomb. Stratton delivered an Alabama Slam to Jordan.

The Bella Twins had a simultaneous hurricanrana on Bayley and Valkyria. Both Bayley and Valkyria were dumped out of the ring. Jayne then eliminated Jordan. Out of nowhere, Ruca nailed Jayne with a Sol Snatcher and dumped her out of the ring.

Legend lifted the Bella Twins and single-handedly eliminated both of them. She then fought Charlotte on the apron and surprisingly eliminated “The Queen.”

Legend and Sky fought on the apron. Sky went for a submission to hang on, but Legend ultimately dumped her to the floor. Ripley tried fighting off Legend, but she ate a big boot from her and then one from Rodriguez. Ripley bounced back and eliminated Legend. Rodriguez sent Ripley over the top rope with a Tejana Bomb, but Morgan turned on Rodriguez by eliminating her.

Ruca hit a double Sol Snatcher on Stratton and Morgan. She went for a double elimination, but everyone ended up on the apron. Ruca went for another Sol Snatcher, but Stratton shoved her to the floor for an elimination. Morgan capitalized with Oblivion on Stratton for the final elimination.

Winner: Liv Morgan

Gunther vs. AJ Styles

AJ Styles went after the calf of Gunther early on. Gunther had a headlock, but he ran into a dropkick. “The Ring General” rebounded by slamming Styles out of the ring. He then tossed the “Phenomenal” one onto the announce table and then into the ring post.

Gunther delivered a back body drop. Styles appeared to have a gash on his left forearm. Gunther locked up a Boston crab. Styles got out of it and landed a Pele kick. Gunther rebounded with a lariat. Styles went for the calf crusher, but Gunther got to the ropes quickly.

Styles got in another calf crusher, but Gunther got out of it. Styles hit a powerbomb followed by the springboard 450. Gunther barely kicked out after being planted by the Styles Clash.

Gunther nailed Styles with a low blow behind the referee’s back. “The Ring General” then delivered a powerbomb for a near fall. Gunther chopped Styles in the corner and booted him. Gunther delivered a series of brutal chops, but Styles finally fought back.

Styles went for the Phenomenal Forearm, but Gunther caught him in a sleeper hold. Gunther landed elbows to the side of Styles’ head and choked the wrestling legend out. Styles’ career is over.

Winner: Gunther

After the match, Styles kept his “Phenomenal” one gloves on and posed for the fans. He walked up the ramp for his final exit and was quite emotional.

Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Sami Zayn – for the Undisputed WWE Championship

Drew McIntyre had the early advantage with his strikes to Sami Zayn. He was able to keep Zayn grounded with chops and punches. Zayn ducked a clothesline, but he ran into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Zayn finally gained some offense with a sunset flip bomb for a two-count.

McIntyre went for the Claymore, but he ate a big boot. Zayn hit a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. McIntyre landed the Glasgow Kiss headbutt. Zayn rolled out of the way of another Claymore attempt and cradled the champion for another two-count.

Zayn was planted by White Noise from the middle rope. McIntyre hit the Future Shock DDT three times, but the challenger kicked out. Zayn went for the Helluva Kick, but he ran into a Claymore. Zayn was able to get his foot on the bottom rope during a pin attempt. As McIntyre argued with referee Charles Robinson, Zayn hit the Helluva Kick, but he couldn’t secure the three-count.

Outside of the ring, Zayn’s back gave out. McIntyre then powerbombed the challenger through an announce table.

Zayn fired up and went for one last Helluva Kick, but he was hit with another Claymore. McIntyre didn’t immediately go for a pin. Instead, he landed yet another Claymore for the victory.

Men’s Royal Rumble Match

Oba Femi made his presence felt immediately as the No. 1 entrant. Bron Breakker was the No. 2 entrant, but he got attacked by a masked man before he even got in the ring. The hooded assailant delivered a stomp and threw Breakker in the ring. Femi then eliminated Breakker.

Solo Sikoa entered the ring as the third entrant, and he was manhandled by Femi. Rey Mysterio was next, and he went for a 619 on Sikoa, but he got caught. Femi took out Sikoa with a big boot. Rusev entered the ring next, and he tried taking Femi off his feet with dropkicks. Mysterio hit a 619 on Rusev. Femi then sent Rusev over the top rope for the second elimination of the match.

Femi then clotheslined Sikoa out of the ring for a third elimination. Mysterio hit a 619 on Femi, but it had no effect. The former “NXT” star then sent Rey Mysterio packing before Matt Cardona entered the match. Cardona had some offense, but Femi tossed him over the top rope as well. Damian Priest drew the No. 7 spot.

Je’Von Evans entered the fray and went for a springboard cutter, but Femi thwarted him. Evans leaped over Femi to land a springboard clothesline on Priest. He then kicked “The Ruler” before Mr. Iguana made his entrance. Trick Williams was the No. 10 entrant, and he had Riyadh chanting “Whoop That Trick.”

Williams eliminated Mr. Iguana. Williams faked a partnership with Evans in a failed attempt to eliminate him. Cody Rhodes entered the match at No. 11. El Grande Americano was next up, and he immediately put a metal plate in his mask. The original El Grande Americano, Chad Gable, then entered at No. 13.

Americano tried unmasking Gable, but he was eliminated for his efforts. Williams then eliminated Gable, but Rhodes sent the former NXT Champion over the top rope. Royce Keys, formerly known as Powerhouse Hobbs, entered at No. 14 and quickly eliminated Priest.

Bronson Reed was next up, and he squashed Evans with a Tsunami splash. LA Parka from AAA entered at No. 18. Dragon Lee entered next, followed by Logan Paul. The Vision eliminated Keys, Parka, and Lee.

LA Knight made his surprising return and eliminated Austin Theory and Reed. Brock Lesnar entered at No. 22 and suplexed just about everyone except Femi. The Miz entered at No. 23, and he immediately backed down when he saw Lesnar and Femi. Lesnar eliminated Ilja Dragunov. Rey Fenix entered at No. 24.

Fenix was quickly eliminated by Lesnar. Femi delivered a clothesline to Lesnar. Femi tried eliminating Paul, but Lesnar took advantage and tossed Femi over the top rope. Rhodes and Knight teamed up to eliminate Lesnar.

Roman Reigns marched down to the ring after drawing the No. 26 spot in the Rumble match. Reigns pretended to “Yeet” with Uso, but he delivered an uppercut instead. “The OTC” then eliminated The Miz.

Jacob Fatu entered next and brawled with Rhodes outside of the ring without an elimination. Uso and Reigns hit 1D on Rhodes. Penta ran down to the ring after his name was called for No. 28.

Rhodes eliminated Knight after a back-and-forth exchange. Randy Orton was the No. 29 entrant. He hit a double draping DDT on Penta and Uso. He then planted Paul with an RKO. Gunther was the final entrant at No. 30.

Evans went for a springboard move, but he got caught in an RKO before being eliminated. Gunther shoved Penta over the top rope. Fatu went to eliminate Rhodes, but McIntyre hit a Claymore on “The American Nightmare” for another elimination. Reigns then tossed Fatu and Uso out of the match.

Paul was eliminated before Gunther sent Orton packing. Gunther locked up a sleeper hold, but Reigns powered out of it and eliminated “The Ring General” to win the men’s Royal Rumble match.

Winner: Roman Reigns
